Thermotec now own the trademark “Vacfoam”, which specifically covers polyurethane overmoulded frontal protection systems (“Bull-Bars”) for the Utility and 4 x 4 automotive sector.

The process is to vacuum form an inner shell substrate (usually in ABS) that is then overmoulded with an integral skin polyurethane foam. The frontal protection systems are supplied with full mounting kits and fitting instructions.
